Insomnia's skills are learned abilities: fighting, using weapons, practical talents and magic. Your race gives you natural statistics, while your class determines which skills are available, how far they can eventually develop, and how expensive they are to train. Use the `skills` command for your detailed skill sheet. For each available skill it shows: Lvl Your permanently trained skill level. Bonus A temporary adjustment from equipment, spells or other effects. Progress Training points already earned toward the next skill point. Points The exact amount earned and needed, plus the amount remaining. The coloured bar fills as you train. Training points come from practising a skill through use or from spending experience with `train` in your class hall. A full skill bar normally advances immediately. If the sheet says `level N needed`, your skill has reached the limit allowed by your current player level. Advance your player level before training it further. `CLASS MAX` or `MASTERED` means your class cannot take it farther. Skills marked unavailable are not part of your current class training.
