TIME / CALENDAR

Syntax: time
Syntax: calendar

Shows the current date and time in the Insomnia world.  This is MUD time,
not the real-world server time shown by the date command.

The Insomnia calendar has its own days, months, seasons, and parts of
the day.

Time scale:

  1 MUD minute  = 20 real seconds
  1 MUD hour    = 60 MUD minutes = 20 real minutes
  1 MUD day     = 20 MUD hours = 6 hours 40 real minutes
  1 MUD week    = 5 MUD days = 33 hours 20 real minutes
  1 MUD month   = 4 MUD weeks = 20 MUD days = 5 days 13 hours 20 minutes
  1 MUD year    = 10 MUD months = 200 MUD days = 55 days 13 hours 20 minutes

The days of the week are:

  Shamblarday
  Piffleday
  Varsijianday
  Foofooday
  Barfday

The months are:

  Konanary
  Pentakster
  Zanduosi
  Siminiter
  Aandrass
  Plushbar
  Plushbey
  Pentakon
  Uridiol
  Ariodoli

The world also tracks the current season and the broad part of the
day: night, dawn, day, or twilight.
